Snazzy final blog post


I think that room 12's 17 days to make a difference has been a very fun experience. I have learnt that people are very grateful when you do jobs for them and even more grateful when you do it with out being asked. I would have to rate my effort a 9/10. I have learnt that being a good citizen you can save a lot of time a effort.

Day 17


I made a difference by helping my parents with making some lunch cause my grandparents were coming over to see my soccer game and I have to say it was a really good lunch. I know I made a difference cause my parent said "thank you".

Day 16


I made a difference by helping my dad cook dinner seeing my mum was still at work and we had guests over, I know I made a difference cause everyone seemed to like it and it went fast by the time my mum got home it was all gone my mum wasn't happy.

Day 15


I made a difference by helping the libary monitors with the after school students cause there was no teacher cause she was sick. I know I made a difference cause it was all sorted after a while.

Day 14


I made a difference by helping my mum make some dinner seeing my sister forgot to defrost the meat. I know I helped and my mum was grateful cause she said "thank you" and let me off dishes.

Day 13


I made a difference by helping Tyler carry her science experiment to school. I know I made a difference cause Tyler would of had to carry it her self and it would of been very heavy. I felt good to help even though she DID NOT say thank you.

Day 12


I made a difference by making my mum and dad a cup of tea and gave them a ginger nut when they sat down after dinner. I know I made a difference cause they said "thank you" and let me have a ginger nut so I made one for myself. I felt good to help.

Day 11


I made a difference by UN-stacking the dish washer for my parents. I know I made a difference cause it felt good to help and my dad said "thank you".

Day 10


I made a difference by mailing the letters my mum needed mailing. It felt good to help and I know my was glad cause it saved her time and she said "thank you".

Day 9


I made a difference by making my sisters bed cause she was playing with the lego and she would of got in trouble by mum if it wasn't made.

I know I made a difference cause if rose didn't make her bed mum would get angry (and no one likes angy mum).

It felt good to hel and it did us all a favour.

Day 8


I made a difference by ironing my sisters and I shirts for my mum. I know I made a difference cause my mum smiled and said "thank you". It felt good doing the ironing and it isn't as bad as it sounds if the T.V is on.

Day 7


I made a difference by helping my mum bring in the groceries after she had been food shopping. I know I made a difference cause my mum said "thank you for helping". It felt good to help my mum.

Day 6


I made a difference by doing the vaccuming for my parents. I know I made a difference cause the house was a lot more tidy. My parent felt glad I did the washing cause it saved them some time from having to do it themselves.

Day 5


I made a difference by donating 1500 grains of rice to poor countrys in the UN World Food Programe.I know I m made a difference cause there will be some more rice for the poor countrys. It felt good to help and I'm sure the people with some more rice will feel happy.

I made a difference by helping my dad put out the washing before school.
I know I made a difference because my dad said "thank you".
I felt good and I was able to go to school earlier cause dad offered to give me a lift.

Day 3


I made a difference by doing the dishes by myself while my little sister cleared the table and my big sister was at netball.
I know I made a difference cause my parents were glad and my little sister was happy cause I could of easily made her help.
I felt good to sit down and not get told off for trying to get off the dishes.
I new my parents were glad cause they said "thank you".

Day 2


I made a difference by helping Mr Mac by helping clean up the science room at luch time.
I know I made a difference cause Mr Mac smiled went I finished.
I felt good to help Mr Mac and save him some time of having to do it himself.
I new Mr Mac was glad that I help cause he smiled and said "thank you".

Day

What I did to make a difference was help my little sister get ready for her after school activity cause she was just reading a book and mum was going to be home soon take her and after that she will take me to guitar.
I know I made a difference cause mum was surprised that she was actually ready cause she never is.
I felt good that I was helping so we wouldn't be late.
I think mum was grateful for helping my sister cause she was in a better mood and mum get annoyed when my sister is unorganised and it saved us time to.
