As part of our Inquiry unit, Room 12 from New Zealand has decided to put our topic on citizenship into practice. We have the challenge of performing one kind deed, each day, for 17 days, starting from the 13th of May, 2009. Follow us as we blog our citizenship journey.
I made a difference by helping my parents with making some lunch cause my grandparents were coming over to see my soccer game and I have to say it was a really good lunch. I know I made a difference cause my parent said "thank you".
I made a difference by helping my dad cook dinner seeing my mum was still at work and we had guests over, I know I made a difference cause everyone seemed to like it and it went fast by the time my mum got home it was all gone my mum wasn't happy.
I made a difference by helping the libary monitors with the after school students cause there was no teacher cause she was sick. I know I made a difference cause it was all sorted after a while.
I made a difference by helping my mum make some dinner seeing my sister forgot to defrost the meat. I know I helped and my mum was grateful cause she said "thank you" and let me off dishes.
I made a difference by helping Tyler carry her science experiment to school. I know I made a difference cause Tyler would of had to carry it her self and it would of been very heavy. I felt good to help even though she DID NOT say thank you.
I made a difference by making my mum and dad a cup of tea and gave them a ginger nut when they sat down after dinner. I know I made a difference cause they said "thank you" and let me have a ginger nut so I made one for myself. I felt good to help.
